Welcome to The George & Dragon — a cosy, rustic country pub with 200 years of history nestled in the heart of Shipley, Horsham. We are a family-owned establishment, proudly serving real ales, locally sourced ingredients, and traditional British favourites with a modern twist.

Our menu is crafted by Chef Dominique Toussaint, a culinary expert with over 20 years’ experience in Michelin-starred restaurants and fine dining across the UK. We are dog-friendly and offer garden seating when weather permits. Our seasonal menus spotlight the best of West Sussex produce, while our real ales and local ciders (including the full draught Hawkstone range) reflect our commitment to backing British farming.
